# American Muslim Community Foundation (AMCF)

> The American Muslim Community Foundation (AMCF) is an award-winning national 501(c)(3) community foundation founded in 2016, dedicated to cultivating strategic Muslim philanthropy in the United States. AMCF empowers donors through Donor Advised Funds (DAFs), Giving Circles, and endowments while strengthening Muslim-led nonprofits through grantmaking, capacity building, and resources. AMCF has distributed over $25 million to more than 1,000 Muslim-led nonprofits nationwide.

AMCF operates as a community foundation—not a direct-service nonprofit. It serves as philanthropic infrastructure for the American Muslim community, connecting individual donors with vetted nonprofits through strategic giving vehicles. The organization is headquartered in Fremont, California and serves donors and nonprofits across the United States. AMCF's EIN is 81-2936073.
