Founded in 2016, American Muslim Community Foundation (AMCF) is an innovative and award-winning national community foundation dedicated to creating Donor Advised Funds, Giving Circles, distributing grants, partnering on fiscal sponsorships, & building endowments for the American Muslim community. AMCF has committed to social basic needs, racial justice, and health equity initiatives by distributing more than $4,250,000 to over 300 nonprofits.

Amplifier works to ignite, strengthen and inform giving inspired by Jewish values. Amplifier’s network of over 130 giving circles function independently to support the causes they believe in.

Purpose

  • Generate more awareness and funding to faith-based institutions
  • Leverage relationships with mainstream philanthropy to provide matching support
  • Educate communities about giving circles and collective giving

Membership 

  • Friends of the Circle
    • Giving at any level
  • Voting Members
    • Minimum contribution of $52.50 (5% fee goes to AMCF)
    • Gifts of any size will be accepted and put towards the fund
    • Recruitment

Target member demographic

  • National, regional, and local faith based leaders
  • Active members/representatives who are community connectors or mobilizers
  • A genuine interest in interfaith work

Recruitment

  • Work in interfaith and intrafaith councils across the country

Qualified Orgs Focus Areas (may fulfill one or more criteria):

  • 501c3 or fiscally sponsored organization in the United States. 
  • Faith based
  • Xenophobia lens
  • Promoting equity, mutual appreciation, respect, & religious liberty and understanding
  • Confronts any form hate, including xenophobia
  • Focuses on education or basic needs
