The OC Fish Grill in Irvine, CA, was the site of our first in-person event. Several SoCal community members hopped onto the freeway on a balmy summer evening to learn more about each other, AMCF, and the Women’s Giving Circle. Attendees look forward to more in-person gatherings as well as virtual informational sessions to learn more about philanthropy. We are excited to begin to build a community of individuals representing a wide range of interests and backgrounds, coming together to uplift each other and amplify the voice of their favorite nonprofit organization.
Giving Circle at the Nonprofit Summit on August 29th
The Women’s Giving Circle Team flew to Dallas to attend the Nonprofit Summit hosted by AMCF, ISNA & Oaktree Institue. Our team had a booth at the summit and mingled with the over 120 nonprofit leaders from across the country who were in attendance. We also walked the halls of the ISNA bazaar meeting with numerous vendors, nonprofits, media outlets, and charitable organizations serving the Muslim community. We also headed out in the Dallas sun to enjoy a taste of the local food scene! In addition, we had the opportunity to meet with members of the AMCF staff and board for an amazing post-summit breakfast
