A Timely Conversation on Housing & Faith

The U.S. is facing a massive housing shortage that imperils significant parts of our population. Rent prices are too high, trapping people into cycles of debt; first-time home purchases seem out of reach for a whole new generation; and tent cities have crept across the U.S. as homelessness has risen nationwide.

What is the American Muslim community’s imperative to be a contributor to helping end this crisis? How do we actualize the idea that housing is a religious obligation and a human right? How do we protect the property rights of people who are targeted by predatory actions, whether from the state or private entities?

Join AMCF & DREAM of Detroit for this timely webinar, hearing from Mark Crain, Executive Director of DREAM of Detroit, on the US housing shortage and the American Muslim community’s need to respond.
