EverWaqf is a permanent endowment fund designed to revive the blessed sunnah of Waqf for Muslim communities across America. We transform everyday donations into a perpetual source of sadaqah jariyah—charity that keeps giving.
As an endowment, EverWaqf preserves and grows the principal amount donated by investing in halal, Shariah-compliant investments. Your contribution is never spent down. Instead, it generates returns that fund charitable work forever.

Built to Last Forever
EverWaqf follows a sustainable distribution model rooted in traditional Waqf principles:
80% Charitable Distribution — Eighty percent of annual profits are distributed equally among the three charitable causes above. That’s roughly 27% to water projects, 27% to orphans and widows, and 27% to mosques and Islamic education.
20% Reinvestment — Twenty percent of profits are reinvested back into the fund, ensuring the Waqf grows stronger each year and serves future generations.
Your principal is never touched. It remains permanently dedicated to generating good.
Meet the Co-Founders
EverWaqf is guided by three volunteer Co-Founders who receive no compensation.
Omar Badawy
Omar Badawy obtained his PharmD and MD degrees from Rutgers University in 2022 and 2026, respectively. He is a member of the Bayonne, Jersey City, and Piscataway Muslim communities. In his free time, Omar enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, snowboarding, and spending quality time with his family. He currently lives in Piscataway, NJ with his wife.

Omar Salem
Omar Salem obtained his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Rutgers University in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Currently, he is a management consultant working in the Tech industry. While he grew up in NJ and retains strong ties with the Bayonne and Jersey City Muslim communities, Omar is currently based out of Miami, FL, where he lives with his wife. In his free time, Omar enjoys playing soccer.

Osama Muhammed
Osama Muhammed obtained his Bachelor’s degree from NJIT in 2020. He is currently working as a cybersecurity specialist. Osama is an active member of the Muslim communities in Bayonne, Jersey City, and Piscataway. In his free time, Osama enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and snowboarding. He currently lives in Piscataway, NJ, with his wife and son.

Yes. EverWaqf is administered by the American Muslim Community Foundation (AMCF), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Your principal is never spent. It is invested in Shariah-compliant assets and preserved in perpetuity. Only the returns generated from investments are distributed to charitable causes—meaning your contribution keeps working forever.
All investments follow strict Shariah-compliance guidelines and adhere to AAOIFI standards. The portfolio includes Shariah-compliant equities, Bitcoin, and real estate—diversified to balance growth with stability. The Co-Founders retain fiduciary responsibility and review the Investment Policy annually.
Distributions begin at the conclusion of the third year following account inception. This allows time for the fund to establish a stable investment base and generate meaningful returns for distribution.
EverWaqf distributes profits equally across all three causes: water projects, orphans and widows, and mosques/Islamic education. This ensures balanced, sustained impact across multiple areas of need. If you’d like to support a specific cause exclusively, AMCF offers other giving options.
